As part of our mission, each week, Friendship Farms & Fare publishes a detailed report on horticultural activities at our First Farm in New Port Richey. Also included are observations and reflections on the ecosystem that supports our farm. In its melding of urban farming news and accounts of the urban ecosystem, the 3F Farm Report is a valuable resource for Floridians interested learning about sustainable food production and the natural environment in which it occurs. The report appears to be unique in this part of the state, although we welcome news of other periodicals like ours.

Most generally, the 3F Farm Report chronicles life on an urban farm. More specifically, it offers news and comment on a wide range of horticultural considerations: seeds we are starting and success rates, trans-plants to the gardens, crop progress, harvesting, and seed collection. Besides supplying information about what we growing, the report includes a popular wildlife segment ("Companion Fauna"), notes on climate and weather, reflections on urban farming, and seasonal market reports.

The 3F Farm Report is a source for news about what we are doing at First Farm, what is working and what is not, what we are learning about sustainable farming, and items of interest or assistance to others of like mind. Included in the report is the weekly share report for CSA members.
